The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) is a federal law designed to protect consumers from unwanted calls, texts, and faxes. Our company is legally required to comply with all TCPA regulations. Failure to follow these guidelines can result in serious penalties, including substantial fines, lawsuits, and loss of client trust.

What the TCPA Requires:

• Consent is mandatory: We may only contact individuals who have provided proper consent (express or written, depending on the type of call/text).
   
• Respect Do Not Call (DNC) lists: We must scrub and honor both the National DNC Registry and our internal DNC lists.
   
• Calling time restrictions: Calls may only be placed between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. (local time of the consumer).
   
• Automated dialing restrictions: Use of auto-dialers, prerecorded messages, or SMS campaigns requires prior express written consent.
   
• Opt-out requirements: Every consumer must be given a clear way to opt out of future calls/texts, and we must honor requests immediately.

Your Responsibility:
All team members must strictly adhere to TCPA rules. No exceptions will be tolerated. If you are ever unsure whether a call, message, or campaign is compliant, you must stop and escalate the question to your supervisor or the compliance team before proceeding.
